    Hi everyone

Just briefly our programm for the Windhoekers once more:

    Date : 30th June - 1st July 2012

MEETING in Windhoek: Saturday, 30th June 06:45h at the Engen filling station next to Woermann & Brock in Olympia

Departing ex Windhoek : Saturday, 30th June 07:00h

First stop 08:00h - 09:00h : Breakfast in Okahandja ( Coffee shop at Shell filling station left hand side when entering Okahandja )

Next stop 12:00h - 13:00h : Lunch and refill in Omaruru ( venue still to be agreed upon )

Destination arrival : ACHAB Camp, approx. 10 km from Usakos ETA 15:00h / 15:30h

All costs arising ( beverages + food + camping ) are for account of the participants and to be settled " on tour".

Costs to be expected at Achab:
Cost for the camping is NAD 80pppn and 3-12 year olds NAD40pppn.
Further details to the camp can be viewed at www.achabnamibia.com

Our coastal buddies made a recce to the camp this last Sunday. We will be occupying the sites nos. 1 - 3, whereas no. 2 will be our "communal-camp"....
For Windhoekers travelling through Usakos, you ignore the turnoff to the coast and continue straight. You pass under the railway line and continue on the D 1914 ( south side of the Khan River ).
After approx. 9 km the camp is signposted on the left hand side .

Return trip on Sunday: the exact route was indicated in the initial planning, but can be subject to change, as we find it appropriate and suitable.

Saturday evening dinner: Everyone is self responsible for dinner on Saturday evening. I assume most will opt for a "braai".
Please note, that all participants arrange for their food and necessities themselves ( ie. cutlery, plate(s), cup(s) etc. )

Sunday a.m. breakfast: we will find a suitable place in Usakos for breakfast

Sunday lunch: we plan to make a lunch stopover around 12:00h on the Bosua Pass ( remember to budget and organize supplies beforehand ).

Return to Windhoek: should be back in Windhoek by 16:00h latest ( to ensure sufficiant time for those joining at Joe's Beerhouse at 18:00h to "freshen up " ).

Eccess baggage: We have two vehicles accompanying us. Both can carry your tent, sleeping bag or roll, items to be cooled, camping chair(s) or even your "tog-bag" with your personal items. Please contact either: Rico ( Toni is joining us with the Landy ) at 081-085-129.3588 or Stephen ( Almut is joining with a Fortuner ?, correct ? ) at 081-242.7276, for any possible support.

I hope I've covered everything of importance. Looking forward to a great trip.

    Regards
    Harald
